Ari integrates with Salesforce to access opportunity, account, contact, and order information. If your organization uses Salesforce instead of (or alongside) HubSpot, Ari can leverage Salesforce data to provide sales context for billing and AR workflows.

What Ari Can Access

Ari has read access to your Salesforce data:

How Ari Uses Salesforce Data

Similar to HubSpot integration, when you ask Ari to create an invoice or gather customer info, Ari enriches the request with Salesforce data:
1

You request action

2

Ari queries Salesforce and Stripe

From Salesforce:
  • Account details and billing address
  • Associated opportunities and their amounts
  • Order history and current orders
  • Contact names and roles
From Stripe:
  • Customer ID and subscription status
  • Invoice history and payments
  • Active billing records

Key Integration Features

Create invoices directly from Salesforce opportunities. Ari pulls the amount, products, and expected close date to populate the invoice.
See which orders have been invoiced and which are pending. Ari helps you match invoices to orders.
Automatically populate billing addresses and primary contacts from Salesforce account records.
Ari knows the role of each contact (Payer, Decision Maker, etc.) and sends invoices to the right person.
For accounts with multiple open opportunities, Ari helps you track which invoices correspond to which opportunities.

Salesforce vs HubSpot

If you use both systems, here’s how Ari handles them:
If you have both Salesforce and HubSpot connected, you can ask Ari which system to reference: “@Ari Create an invoice using the Salesforce opportunity” or “@Ari Create an invoice using the HubSpot deal”.

Common Questions

Ari has read-only access to Salesforce. Ari cannot create opportunities, update orders, or modify account information. To make changes in Salesforce, update those records directly in Salesforce.

Can I invoice from multiple Salesforce records at once?

Not in a single invoice, but Ari can create multiple invoices:

What if the opportunity amount doesn’t match what I want to invoice?

You can override it:

How does Ari know which contact to send the invoice to?

Ari prioritizes:
  1. Contact with “Payer” role in the opportunity
  2. Primary contact on the account
  3. Contact you’ve set as the default billing contact
You can always specify a different contact when requesting the invoice.
